McLaren's mission is "to be Michigan's best value in healthcare, as defined by quality outcomes and cost."

The operations and services of MHC are housed in nearly 150 facilities serving a 32-county market with a population in excess of 3.5 million lives.

Information technology is driving faster, more accurate delivery of health care services. Recognizing a unique business opportunity to leverage a substantial expense stream, McLaren Health co-founded PHNS which recently became Anthelio Healthcare Solutions Inc. Anthelio is focused on providing hospitals with innovative ways to use technology and re-engineered business processes to improve patient care, streamline operations and achieve significant cost advantages. Through this partnership, McLaren continues to make strategic investments in IT infrastructure, EMR, portable digital communication workstations and web-enabled data transfer systems that are helping us meet unprecedented challenges and create a higher standard of care in the industry.

McLaren Health Care is an owner of Premier, Inc., the largest alliance of hospitals and health systems throughout the country. Premier leverages purchasing power and contracts as well as provides benchmarking and redesigning of processes among participating owners.
