Many individuals interested in volunteering call the hospice office each week and ask "Well, how do I become a hospice volunteer?" The answer is simple, really... Come in and meet our team! Our group of volunteers is dedicated to spreading the cheer, satisfaction, and rewards of volunteering to anyone interested in hearing the message. We have a group of specialized Volunteer Ambassadors who serve as tour guides and are available to guide you through to becoming a volunteer.
Whether you are very new or experienced with hospice, we are here to help you along your journey to learning more about hospice. Our Volunteer Ambassadors are the best guides because they serve out of the kindness of their own hearts. Their rewards come from seeing the smiles on patients' faces when bringing in a fresh baked batch of cookies. Their compensation is found in knowing that they stepped in to serve the needs of the patients that perhaps nobody else could. Volunteers add that special touch!
