Amputee Clinic

The Amputee Clinic is held at the Center for Rehabilitation on the first Tuesday of every other month  at 1pm, following  the Amputee Support Clinic.  The Amputee Clinic is attended by  Dr. Ravi Lakkaraju, Rehab Services Medical Director  and Physiatrist; Jacqueline Irvine, PT and Rehab Services Coordinator, and local area prosthetists.  The Amputee Clinic is open to any individuals who have had an amputation of the arm or leg in the community.  The Clinic is available to address all medical needs of the individual throughout his/her lifetime including pain management, prosthetic care/management and/or further rehabilitation needs.  For more information, please feel free to contact the Center for Rehabilitation at (989) 667-6600 or Jacqueline Irvine PT, Rehab Services Coordinator at (989) 667-6757. 

The Amputee Clinic is a free service to patients in our community who have undergone an amputation of an arm or a leg. The patient meets with the Physiatrist (a doctor who specializes in physical medicine), a physical therapist and several local prosthetists. The team addresses all medical needs related to the amputation including pain management, prosthetic care/management and/or further rehabilitation needs. Patients can come to the clinic regardless of how long ago their amputation occurred. 

When:  Held on the first Tuesday of every other month at 1pm following the amputee support group meeting

Where:  All sessions are held at the Center for Rehabilitation located on McLaren Bay Region's West Campus at 3190 E. Midland Rd, Bay City MI
