Home call is optional at McLaren Bay Region. Sure, you can hang
out all night in the call room if you want. And some nights you might want to.
But at McLaren Bay Region you have the option of taking call from
home... Just like an attending. You go in for all admits or for unstable
patients. The rest can be handled over the phone. This is a big plus,
especially for married residents. That makes a resident's hectic call schedule
that much more doable.
