For people with non-life threatening chest pain or symptoms of heart attack, Ingham's Chest Pain Center, the area's only such dedicated program, provides prompt, accurate diagnosis so follow-up treatment can be enacted sooner-rather than later. The Chest Pain Center is a short-term, fast-track unit designed to speed up testing that will clarify whether a patient's chest pain requires emergent treatment or if it's a symptom of ongoing coronary artery disease, and what the most appropriate treatment plan is for each patient.
