McLaren Central Michigan is pleased to welcome physical therapist Jennifer Soeltner as a member of the Rehabilitation Services staff. Soeltner, a recent graduate of the Central Michigan University Physical Therapy program, works with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients of all diagnoses, injuries, and surgeries in both acute and outpatient settings. She also treats patients in need of pelvic floor/incontinence therapy.
Soeltner earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 2009 with a major in Health Fitness in Prevention and Rehabilitative Programs. In May 2012, she graduated from CMU with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
“I decided to become a physical therapist when I was 28. Exercise makes me happy and it was a way I could turn it into a profession.”
Soeltner completed her clinical internship at McLaren Central Michigan in May, where she worked in both acute and outpatient settings, building strong relationships with patients and staff.
“The best part about being a physical therapist is helping patients become more independent,” Soeltner said.
Soeltner’s office is located in McLaren Central Michigan’s Rehabilitation Services department on the first floor of Wellness Central, 2600 Three Leaves Drive in Mt. Pleasant. Appointments can be made by calling (989) 779-5604.
Soeltner and her husband have resided in Lake Isabella since 2002. In her free time, she enjoys teaching group fitness classes, kayaking and biking.
