Anesthesiologist Freda Armah, MD Joins McLaren Central Michigan Medical Staff

McLaren Central Michigan welcomes Anesthesiologist Freda Armah, MD to the medical staff.  Dr. Armah, a Mt. Pleasant resident, previously worked as attending anesthesiologist at the hospital in Alma.

Dr. Armah earned her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in Accra, Ghana.  She completed two internships and a residency at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, and a second residency at the University of Toledo Health Sciences Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Dr. Armah’s husband, Henry B. Armah, MD has worked as a pathologist in the main lab at McLaren Central Michigan since October 2011.

In her spare time, Dr. Armah enjoys watching television and spending time with her family, including her three children, ages 12, 10, and 2.

McLaren Central Michigan is a 118-bed, acute care, not-for-profit hospital located in Mt. Pleasant, offering a full range of quality health and wellness services to the residents of central Michigan including cardiovascular care, cancer services, and comprehensive surgical and orthopedic services.  The hospital has over 70 active staff physicians and is associated with more than 150 other skilled providers.
