Patients benefit from one-on-one instruction, including diabetes education, foot care, nutrition and diet, smoking cessation, exercise, skin care and prevention of future injuries.

Treatment May Include:

  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
  • Infection management
  • Debridement (removal of nonliving tissue)
  • Skin-grafting
  • Use of Protective Devices
  • Compression therapy
  • Nutritional support
  • Rehabilitative services
  • Home health care
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves the systemic delivery of oxygen to patients placed in a chamber at two or three times atmospheric pressure while breathing 100% oxygen for periods of time between 90 and 120 minutes. HBOT is a simple, non-invasive and painless treatment.
