Emmi® programs at McLaren Flint
Here at McLaren Flint, we believe that you, the patient, are the most important member of your health care team. That’s why we offer these free programs. Using voice and animation, Emmi helps you prepare for your upcoming procedure or manage your chronic condition. Emmi answers frequently asked questions and you can view the program in the comfort of your own home or anywhere that has internet access. You can even share the programs with friends or family members. At McLaren Flint we also offer joint replacement patients a comprehensive educational program. On the same day you are scheduled for pre-admission testing, you and your designated coach or loved one, can attend class to learn what to expect before, during and after your surgery. Class is held right on the patient care unit where you will stay so you can become familiar with it and some of our caregivers ahead of time.
