Join us for a day of FUNdraising for a great cause! The 22nd McLaren Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at two of the Flint areas prestigious golf courses, Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club and The Flint Golf Club.
All proceeds raised will benefit the McLaren Hospitality House. The Hospitality House will provide a low-cost "home away from home" for patients who are undergoing proton therapy treatment. These patients spend between seven and nine weeks undergoing almost daily treatment. Since McLaren is opening the only Proton Therapy Center in Michigan this fall, and only the 11th in the country, many patients will be traveling from outside our region to receive treatment. Since insurance does not cover the cost of housing for patients, having an affordable and accommodating place to stay close to their treatment location is critical in meeting the extended needs of these patients and their families.
