McLaren PHO (MPHO) was originally established as a partnership between McLaren Health Care and its medical staff. We consolidated our five regional PHOs to create MPHO, a new "Super-PHO", numbering almost 1,200 physicians, seven hospitals, and geographically covering over 30 counties.
MPHO is responsible for the negotiation, development and administration of a variety of managed care contracts for our network of physicians, ancillary facilities and hospitals. We serve as a liaison between the McLaren Healthcare System, health plans, employers, physicians and patient enrollees. |
