MPHO contracts with many different payers across our service area. Contracting efforts are done on a regional basis and not all plans are available in all regions.
Many of our health plans have incentive programs in place to reward providers for their performance on certain clinical measures and/or additional reimbursement for designated services performed in the office. While in 2013, the focus is clearly on the Healthcare Effectiveness and Data Information Set (HEDIS), the individual measures, dollar amount and frequency of payment can vary between each plan.
