J.D. Talbott, DO
Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, J.D. Talbott, DO, received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to joining McLaren Northern Michigan, he served as both Chief of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and Associate Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Additionally, he served as Division Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery for the Michigan State University Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties.
In 1990, Dr. Talbott founded the Lansing Heart & Lung Specialists, PC, where he served eight years as president, and co-founded the Cardiothoracic Surgical Program at Sparrow Hospital.
