Local Opportunities for Healthcare Career Tours and Programs

At McLaren Northern Michigan, healthcare career observation is defined as a short-term experience (less than four hours) where a student is allowed to observe an assigned professional and ask questions about his/her career. This is a “hands off” experience with no assistance in patient care or other procedural areas. Healthcare career observation will be offered based on department and resource availability and are not available in the Emergency Department, Surgery, Recovery, Procedural Areas, ICU, and Labor and Delivery.
