The family practice rotation provides both outpatient and inpatient practical experience and education. Students participate in the management of patients with a wide variety of common acute and chronic medical problems.
Students participate in daily inpatient rounds at McLaren Oakland for continuity of care. The ambulatory training site gives students outpatient experiences. Family Practice Preceptor rotations are also available.
