An Update from IRMC on the COVID-19 Vaccine: February 10, 2021
Wednesday, February 10, 2021
Here is what you can do as you wait your turn for the vaccine.
To date, IRMC has administered approximately 4,500 vaccines to healthcare workers, first responders, and individuals in our community age 75+. We are doing our best to vaccinate as many patients as we can, as efficiently as possible.
We have begun vaccinating the community at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, by appointment only.
We are working hard to secure more vaccines, but just like the weather, vaccine supply is unpredictable and varies daily – and unfortunately, supply is low throughout the United States, so we must prioritize who receives the vaccine first.
Fill out the vaccine interest form.
If you haven’t already, complete the vaccine interest form. If you completed the form previously, all you need to do now is remain patient and watch your email, as we will open up additional vaccine clinic appointments for the next high-risk group as supply increases. You do not need to complete the form more than once.
Get the vaccine when it is your turn.
We appreciate your loyalty to IRMC, but above anything else, we want you to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and that may mean you must do so at another healthcare facility or a local pharmacy. We encourage you to receive the vaccine if it becomes available in your area, and be sure you receive your second dose at the same location.
Our commitment to you.
IRMC is committed to caring for you. We understand how frustrating the vaccination process can be and urge you to continue to protect yourselves and others by wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing your hands.
