New information regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine at IRMC

Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the Pennsylvania Department of Health issued a statement regarding changes to the COVID-19 vaccine phases.

At this time, vaccine supplies remain limited and IRMC continues to vaccinate frontline healthcare workers. We are working diligently through these changes and will let you know more as the information becomes available to us.

We understand your anticipation around the vaccine and are aware of the many individuals eager to be immunized.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our community safe.

IRMC released the following information last week.

Does IRMC have the vaccine available for the community and how can I get scheduled?
At this time, IRMC does not have any COVID-19 vaccines available for the community. We will let the community know if and when this changes. We are following closely the guidance given to us by the PA Department of Health and CDC.

Information about the vaccine can be found on the CDC website.

Is there a waiting list?
At this time, there is not a waiting list for the general public.

National news is reporting the vaccine is available to everyone in all phases, why doesn’t IRMC have it?
