Dr. Brian Stone is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in sports medicine and resides in Murrysville, PA. He received his bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and received his master's degree in engineering management from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Stone received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency and fellowship with Allegheny Health Network.
Dr. Stone comes to IRMC Physician Group with a wide range of experience from his service in the US Army Corps of Engineers, to serving as team physician for many local sports teams and schools around Pittsburgh. While in the Army, he led Soldiers at multiple levels as platoon leader to company commander while in the United States and in Iraq. Dr. Stone says he enjoys medicine for the constant challenge.
His professional and academic affiliations include the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the PA Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Stone enjoys fitness, playing a variety of sports, and spending time with his wife and two children.
