Special practice interests

Advanced bronchoscopy techniques, such as endobronchial ultrasound guided biopsies preventing the need for invasive procedures, peripheral needle aspiration of pulmonary lesions and placement of chronic in dwelling chest tubes for recurrent malignant pleural effusions. Dr. Mehta is the first in the region to implement endobronchial molecular testing for the management of pulmonary nodules.
