Foot and Ankle Surgery (Podiatry)

Life isn't easy when you're dealing with foot and ankle pain. The expert podiatry team at Indiana Regional Medical Center can help.

We address all types of foot and ankle problems. And we offer all aspects of podiatry, from diagnosis through surgery, if needed. There's no need to go anywhere else for your foot care.

Our approach to foot and ankle care

Our team is dedicated to helping you heal, hurt less and move more.

Here's what you can expect from us:

An appointment soon after you call. In many cases, we can see you the same day you call to make an appointment.

Expert care. Our board-certified podiatrists are highly skilled. And they're supported by certified medical podiatric assistants. That's the highest certification possible for a podiatric clinic assistant.

A detailed treatment plan. We'll work to diagnose your foot or ankle problem quickly and accurately. Then we'll come up with a plan to ease your pain and correct the issue.

Whenever possible, we try conservative treatments, like cortisone injections, custom casting and splinting, and custom-made and -fitted braces and shoes. But if you do need surgery, our podiatrists are also skilled foot and ankle surgeons.

A great experience. You'll notice that we take the time to explain your condition and our proposed treatments. You are an important part of your podiatry team—we work to keep you informed throughout your care. And you won't find a friendlier or more caring team anywhere. We treat our patients like family.

Foot and ankle problems we treat

We treat a wide range of foot and ankle problems, including:

  • Injuries, such as sprains, strains and fractures. If you've been injured, give us a call. We'll try to get you in for an appointment the same day. We have x-ray services at our clinics to help with diagnosing injuries.
  • Chronic conditions, such as diabetic foot ulcers and other chronic wounds, bunions, plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, tendonitis, toenail fungus, ligament problems, growth plate injuries in children and teens, and deformities. We also perform diabetic foot exams, including nail care.

We offer state-of-the-art treatments you might expect to find at a big-city podiatry clinic. These include stem cell and skin grafting for wounds, foot and ankle reconstructions, total ankle replacements, Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease surgeries and 3-D lapiplasty for bunion correction, which may have you back on your feet sooner.
