IRMC at Northern Cambria offers a full line of laboratory, routine x-ray, 3-D mammography, specialty services, and more. We are excited to bring more convenient services closer to you!

Convenient Services

We offer the following services Monday though Friday from 7 am to 3:30 PM:

  • 3D Mammography.
  • General X-Ray.
  • Laboratory services. *Last appointment at 2:30.
  • EKG.
  • Ultrasound (Tuesday and Friday only).
  • DEXA Scan.

Primary Care/Walk-in Visits

Our nurse practitioners are available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm by walk-in or appointment. Our nurse practitioners treat everything from colds, coughs and sinus infections to minor cuts, scrapes and burns, along with insect bites, pink eye, strep throat, urinary tract infections, women's care, and more. Whether you need to establish care with a primary care provider for disease management or annual care, or you just need to be seen for an acute issue, we've got you covered!

General Surgery

Treatments at IRMC are carefully designed for each individual. Our team of general surgeons are experienced in a variety of procedures, including:

  • Colorectal surgery.
  • Cholecystectomy (gallbladder).
  • Hernia repair.
  • Breast surgery.
  • Bariatric surgery.
  • Appendectomy.
  • Mediports.
  • Removal of skin lesions.
  • Treatment of various cysts.
  • More.

Our team has expertise in modern robotic and laparoscopic procedures, which allow surgery to be done with just a few small incisions. This minimally invasive approach often means decreased pain and quicker recovery time.

In addition to the above services, we offer extensive breast health services. Our breast health team are among the most experienced in the region. IRMC, in partnership with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, is at the forefront of breast cancer diagnosis and cares for our patients every step of the way from prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery. The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), has granted Three-Year Accreditation to IRMC. That means patients have access to the best possible care and treatment options.

Note: All procedures are done at IRMC Main Campus in Indiana, PA. However, all pre-and post-operative appointments are available at IRMC at Northern Cambria. Some services may be provided in-office.
