IRMC's nurse externship program consists of 7-week paid work experience with a registered nurse preceptor. Nursing students must be entering their senior year of a bachelor of science in nursing program or the third semester of a diploma or associate degree program to apply. Candidates are eligible the summer to the last term of year of RN training. The 2025 program begins on June 2.

- Provide a resume
- Provide two letters of recommendation
- Provide copies of your transcripts
